Bailey Approach Compact 540

Friday, 01, Nov 2013 09:41

Bailey's three-berth Approach Compact 540 is a great model for couples wanting that extra bit of luxury on their holidays.

The motorhome is fairly versatile with a double bed able to be folded out in the front seating area. During the day this part of the model is a stylish dinette and sofa where people can enjoy meals.

Towards the rear of the Approach Compact 540, Bailey has installed a functional bathroom which is kitted out with a toilet, shower cubicle, and washbasin.

Kitchen facilities are up to the standards of any holidaymaker. It features a two-shelf oven and a full-height fridge/freezer combo. There is plenty of worktop space for preparing food while the hob and sink both come with covers for extra space when not in use.

There is no issue in terms of storage space either as Bailey has installed a whole host of overhead cabinets for people to keep their belongings and provisions for the journey.

  • Berths: 3
  • Overall length: 5.99m
  • Overall width: 2.35m
  • MTPLM: 3,500kg

Bristanbul Tour Days 1 and 2

The Bristanbul tour in depth article

The Bristanbul tour was as fun as it was ambitious, 21 countries in 21 days. I was fortunate enough to get an invite on the tour, spaces are not very easy to come by. I was originally going to do all 21 days but due to obligations back in the UK I could only complete 18 days. Over 18 days I was able to complete legs 1, 2 and 3 of the tour as well as visit 10 countries I had never been to before.

Two And A Half Days In Prague And The Skoda Factory

A few days well spent in Prague

My last few days on Bailey's Bristanbul tour were rather manic, and that is putting it lightly. With a mid afternoon arrival as Camp Sokol and a final day to roam Old Town I made sure that my time spent it Prague was full of sites and experiences. It was my last day on the tour after all.
