The Approach SE broke new ground for Bailey of Bristol in 2011

Wednesday, 24, Jul 2013 02:58

Launched in 2011, the Approach SE was the first motorhome range to be built by Bailey of Bristol.

Built using the company's patented Alu-Tech construction method these motorhomes made a big impact when they were first unveiled.

Driven by a 2.2-litre Peugeot engine and built on an Al-Ko AMC chassis, the Approach SE offers high user payloads throughout the range.

What's more, a six-speed manual gearbox, ABS and cruise control makes this an easy-to-drive option, particularly for first-time motorhomers.

Driver comfort is assured, thanks to the fully adjustable seats and cab air conditioning, while on-board safety equipment includes driver and passenger airbags.

Creature comforts

Moving to the habitation area, Bailey has fitted Italian-style furniture with a rich Walnut woodgrain finish, alongside Vivaldi soft furnishings.

In the kitchen area, Approach SE owners get a Dometic 8-Series refrigerator, a 700W mivrowave oven, Thetford anti-rattle oven and a four-burner hob.

Meanwhile in the washroom all the showers feature a bi-fold door, Eco-camel showerhead and fully-lined cubicles, as well as a deep Belfast-style sink.

Finally, for added peace of mind, all Bailey Motorhomes come with a six-year bodyshell integrity guarantee for added peace of mind.

Two And A Half Days In Prague And The Skoda Factory

A few days well spent in Prague

My last few days on Bailey's Bristanbul tour were rather manic, and that is putting it lightly. With a mid afternoon arrival as Camp Sokol and a final day to roam Old Town I made sure that my time spent it Prague was full of sites and experiences. It was my last day on the tour after all.

Back To Normality Post Bristanbul

The team that made the Bristanbul tour a success

On the 9th of April 2018 I set off on a tour of a lifetime with the Bailey of Bristol team. As I am sure you are aware the tour was an epic adventure. At the time I did not realise just how amazing the experience would be. You could go as far to say I was borderline apprehensive prior to leaving, for multiple silly reasons. Once I got behind the wheel and got some miles under my belt, along with some valuable lessons from the team, all the fears I had went away which lead me to having an experience of a lifetime.
