Make & Model
Eldiss Avante 636
Year
2007
Overall
Hi we have an Eldiss Avante 636 , and I must say it has passed all expectations with flying colours. We have looked at upgrading but there is no other Caravan in this layout that suits our needs at present, there are a lot of fixed beds out there and they are all very nice but in my view the beds take up alot of room, so we will stick to the 636 for now. There not all top marks but a great Van none the less
Space & Practicality
I agree with that, as I myself have a large family It is perfect with the double dinettes that can be aranged in so many ways and be abl to close off the rear area for more privacy, also there is plenty of storage all round, only downside is the small bathroom but we don't really find it a problem.
Quality & Reliability
Equipment & Comfort
Although sometimes it can feel a little basic, what you get is everything you need.
Value for Money
Explorer have stopped making this particular model now, and all the dealers I have spoken to have said the same thing that they could sell these models all day long.

Caravan Fire Safety Tips And Advice

How do you prevent a caravan fire?

As part of my job I scour the internet to read touring news from around the world and keep my finger on the pulse that is the touring community. When doing my research there always seems to be massive recurring issue, fires in caravans. Why are there so many incidents with fires and touring homes? Are they targets for petty arsonists?
