Towards the higher end of Coachman Caravans' touring range, the VIP offers a new level of sophistication and comfort for 2016 and beyond.

With three fixed bed models (575, 545 and 560) and three additional models (460, 520, 565) all offering ample space, there's certainly something for everyone in this high-end range.

It goes without saying that the VIP is rather elegant and an abundance of features throughout simply proves this.

For 2016 comes new VIP graphics and colours on the exterior, along with a new AL-KO piece, galvanised steel chassis with Euro axle, overrun device and easy action handbrake, as well as a DImatec awning light whilst, moving inside, new soft furnishings in 'Corsica/Everest Neutral' design complete the look.

When it comes to feeling refreshed, a domestic style bathroom door in the 460, 520, 560, 565 and the 575, as well as Eco-Camel shower head in all showers comes standard across the range along with an opaque window for a touch of natural light.

For the budding chef in you, a kitchen workstation with Spinflo Argent recessed oval single bowl sink in black enamel with glass lid and Joseph Joseph drainer should certainly do the trick and new laminated kitchen splash back in each model of the range should be able to keep everything under control.

The current line up consists of the following models:

FEATURE: 21st century caravan construction: How are caravans made today?

Some companies have welcomed the change in technology

Regardless of your chosen caravan manufacturer, construction methods have changed unrecognisably over the last decade. Early adopters, Bailey of Bristol, were the first to change their construction with the introduction of Alu-Tech, but each of the manufacturers have done things in there own way. Below we have provided you with a quick synopsis of how all the main manufacturers make their caravans.

Self levelling technology: Why is there not more of it out there?

Self levelling systems are popular with its users but there are only a few caravan and motorhome models that offer the technology

The caravan and motorhome industry are amazingly early adopters of technology, and modern leisure vehicle specifications are incredibly high. Some leisure vehicles have more specification than the average home, boasting huge fridges, solar panels, alarm systems, satellite dishes, LED touch lighting, even underfloor wet central heating in some models.
