I have taken advantage of the Caravan and Motorhome Club's glamping accommodation more than once in the past and can strongly recommend giving it a try, even if you do have a leisure vehicle. And now with such great offers available it seems like the best time to take a staycation with a difference.

While we still have a month or two left this lovely summer time weather you have plenty of time to make the most of the weekends, oh and long bank holiday weekends that are on the way at the end of the month. By taking advantage of these CAMC offers you can both try something new and save a few quid along the way.

I can personally attest to just how much fun you can have at a Club site without a van. I spent a weekend in one of the Club's Airstream and Safari Yurts, and it really was a lot of fun. More so than I thought it would be away from the trusty caravan.

The Club have locations all across the UK with glamping accommodation for you to take a break at so if you want to see the scenery of the Lake District of the buzzing Brighton seaside you can now get away from £99 a night for two adults and two children.

Moreton-in-Marsh Club Site

An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are miles of rolling hills and meadows waiting to be explored, with the 65-mile Diamond Way close by.

Brighton Club Site

A stay at the Brighton Club Site is the ultimate British summertime getaway. The site is set within the stunning South Downs, just two miles from the middle of Brighton. There are a number of walks available from the site and further across the Downs, with plenty of local wildlife to be spotted. The Marina is just a short drive away, and has plenty of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes.

For something a bit different, stay in an iconic Airstream between 18 and 20 August for £129 per night.

Daleacres Club Site

The Kentish countryside of Daleacres Club Site is the perfect off-the-beaten track glamping getaway. Set in peaceful farmland and a short drive from the soft, sandy beaches of Dymchurch the area is great for kicking back and relaxing in nature. Nearby attractions include Dover Castle, which is a delight for kids and adults alike. There are also ample walking and cycling routes, with plenty of great local restaurants and pubs to stop at whilst you're en route!

For an authentic glamping experience, stay in a rustic yurt between 25 and 31 August for £129 per night.

Coniston Park Coppice

Coniston Park Coppice is set in the heart of the Lake District National Park, right by the beautiful Lake Coniston. Price reduction in the Lake District

Travellers wanting to stay in their own caravan or motorhome, can take advantage of the reduced rate per night for the summer at the Caravan and Motorhome Club's Kendal Club Site. It is now just £28 per night for two adults and a standard pitch.

The site makes for an ideal stay for anyone looking to explore the beauty of Cumbria and the Lake District. Nestled in quiet woodland and with pitches set amongst wildflowers, the site is a nature-lovers paradise. There are a number of nature walks that are easily accessible from the site and the nearby market town of Kendal makes for a great day out.

Caravan Tourism Boosts Bristish Economy Significantly

We the people boost the economy with our holiday habits

It has been a bit of an odd 3 years since the decision to leave the EU was announced. The GBP has had its ups and downs, the political climate has been, for lack of a better word, shambolic and the future does still seen quite uncertain. But one thing that has remained strong despite all this chaos is the strength of the Great British tourism economy, of which the caravan world is a firm backbone of.
