Set among the Cheviot Hills near the beautiful Northumberland market town of Alnwick, the Caravan Club's River Breamish site is perfect for walkers and cyclists looking to get out and about in the fresh north-eastern air. The National Park Centre in Ingram, just two miles away, is perfect for this and there can surely be no better a picnic spot than down by the river.

Open to all, River Breamish has 79 pitches available, most of which are hardstanding but some are grass. Caravanners will find a toilet block and laundry room at the site, while waste disposal and Wi-Fi also feature in the on-site amenities. Pets are welcome and it is a great caravan park for walking dogs, while the nearest bus stop is within walking distance.

Prices at River Breamish start at £5.25 and rise to £8.20 in peak weeks, while per per person rates are charged on top. For adults this is between £4.70 and £6.35 and for children it costs between £1.30 and £2.20.
