The Derwentwater Oval offers a great mix of country walks and local amenities, with the small town of Keswick located just two minutes from the site. Here, holidaymakers can make use of local supermarket facilities to stock up for their holiday. Meanwhile a diverse range of entertainment is on hand through the Totters World of Animals wildlife park, Cumberland Pencil Museum and Castlerigg Stone Circle.

On this quiet, well-sheltered site, 17 hardstanding and grass pitches with electrical hook ups are available. Wi-Fi and battery recharging facilities are also on offer, along with gas cylinder refills and washing machines. Showers and wash basins are on site and pets are welcome.

Open from March 1st to January 5th, the caravan park's nightly fees vary between £7.75 to £10.45 for adults and £2.70 to £2.95 for children. Members' family deals range between £22.00 and £25.55 depending on the season with Club Service Pitches available at £3.75 per night.
