Founded in 1965, Swift has quickly grown from humble origins to include popular brands such as Sprite, Sterling and Bessacarr.

Expansion into the sectors of static caravans and motorhomes has only strengthened the company and today it is recognised as one of the world's biggest-selling manufacturers of leisure homes of all types.

Innovations for 2017

Across the ranges there has been quite a few changes, most notably the roll-out of dometic features such as the new CU600 cooker.

The cookers are said to improve cooking times and generally enhance the uniformity of cooking.

As usual the interiors have been spruced up, with new alternative modern decors available in each range.

Certain ranges have undergone far greater levels of alterations than others, such as the Challenger and Sterling Eccles, both seeing three new models to their fleets.

Swift Conqueror

The only additional feature to the Swift Conqueror this year is the new Dometic CU600 cooker.

However, that being said, the Conqueror range has been given an interior make-over, with a new furnishing scheme.

There is a wide panoramic sunroof creating a light-filled seating area, with backrest cushions.

There are also gloss upper locker doors, in ashen brown, with inlays and luxury full width curtains, perfect for privacy, day or night.

For an in-depth look see our Swift Conqueror page.

Swift Elegance

Just as with the Sterling Continental, Swift have introduced a new 650 twin-axle caravan to the fleet to stand alongside the six models from last year.

The 650 will cost the same as its 645 counterpart, both priced at £29,795, with each standing at 7.94m tall and 2.26m wide.

However, the new addition to the Elegance line-up will have a rear island bed with facing television and a full washroom between the bedroom and kitchen.

Swift Challenger

Three new models have been launched in the Challenger range for 2017, bringing the current total of models to nine.

Of the three models introduced there is the single-axle 560, which comes with a rear island bed and central washroom.

The other two, the 635 and 645, are twin-axles, with the former having a bedroom across the back of the camper and a washroom in the centre and the latter the other way around.

Both twin-axle models will also have a tall slimline Dometic fridge-freezer. The gloss locker doors are now also in grey.

Sterling Continental

Swift has introduced a brand new model to the fold, the 650 twin-axle and added new features throughout including, a soft furnishing scheme, dometic oven to improve efficiency and rearview cameras.

A tall slimline dometic 134 litre fridge and 12 litre removable freezer will be added to the 480 and 565 models.

The 650 will cost the same as its 645 counterpart, both priced at £29,795, with each standing at 7.94m tall and 2.26m wide.

Sterling Elite

For 2017, the Sterling Elite range has kept its fleet of eight models in tact without a whole raft of changes.

New Dometic CU600 cookers have been introduced across the range and new interior furnishings have been added with beige hessian fabrics in two textures.

New style cushions will be in dark plum shades and curtains will have a pale gold cross pattern.

There is more on our Sterling Elite page.

Sterling Eccles

Three new models have been launched this year for the Sterling Eccles, the 560, 635 and 645.

With the three extra models, the Eccles range now encompasses eight caravans, six being single-axles and two double-axles.

The 560 has a rear island bed, central washroom and will cost £550 more than its 565 counterpart at £19,725.

There were previously no twin-axle models, however, for 2017, Swift have introduced the 635 and 645.

Both a twin and single-axle model have been introduced to the Sprite range for 2017, each receiving a new look for the coming season.

Their new single-axle caravan, the Sprite Major 4EB, has a rear island bed and central shower-toilet facilities across the centre of the van.

The six-berth Quattro DD will have seating areas in both the front and rear, with bunks above the rear and a central offside shower room.

Sprite Freedom

The Sprite Freedom range continues with three six-berth models but these models get a new look with different woodwork and enhanced lighting.

The new look includes features, such as, adjustable lounge spotlights, recessed ceiling lights and over-locker lighting.

Freedoms now have curtains, replacing the simple fabric window-side panels formerly used.

Sprite's standard fabrics, using citrus shades continue for 2017 and an option will be introduced, in muted shades of grey and gold.

Innovations for 2016

Swift Challenger

With a stunning new profile and the latest stylish interiors the Swift Challenger range offers outstanding value at weights towable by most family cars and, with eight models to choose from including a twin axle variant, an abundance of choice is on offer.

Bathed in natural light, courtesy of a panoramic sunroof, the stylish theme continues throughout the professionally designed and carefully coordinated interior. 'Aralie Sen' woodgrain with an ashen brown hue adorns the furniture and upper locker doors, which sport a new gloss finish and a chrome inlay.

'Zimba' soft furnishings are light and bright. A tasteful fusion of a cream base fabric with a dark brown thread and stylised floral curtains in earthy brown and duck egg blue accents. Chrome sockets, switches and push button locker catches finish the contemporary feel.

Flexible seating and sleeping arrangements feature new Swift AirWave seating with a unique construction that expertly blends comfort and support. Fixed beds are topped with the ultra comfortable Duvalay Duvalite mattress, exclusive as standard equipment to the Swift Group. Well equipped kitchens feature the Dometic fridge with removable freezer compartment and washrooms have a transit friendly bi-fold shower door.

'Truma' Combi heating comes as standard and is easy to use via a digital panel to control the heating and hot water. Your new Challenger can now be refined further with an optional 'Alde' wet central heating system.

Swift Conqueror

The all-new Swift Conqueror is now fully built using innovative SMART HT construction for 2016. This takes this high end tourer's reputation for comfort, practicality and style to a new level without compromising on the range's aerodynamic exterior design which combines a sweeping front aspect, sleek sunroof, rain water diverter and shapely one-piece rear panel creating a strikingly sleek silhouette.

New 'Loretta' furnishings will make you feel at home with its natural blend of colours and textures including woven cream and ribbed warm brown bedding. The leaf pattern chocolate brown curtains tie in beautifully with the gloss upper locker doors in 'Aralie Sen' with 'Smoked Oak' inlays to create a sophisticated ambience.

For luxury at bedtime, all fixed beds are fitted with the exclusive Duvalay Duvalite mattress, containing lightweight memory fibre technology.

The Conqueror houses everything you need, Swift says, for a five star touring experience, with class leading width and headroom and an expanded list of luxury, safety and practical features designed to delight.

The new Swift Command control system features a new intelligent power supply unit with LCD control panel; certain functions can be controlled/monitored remotely via the new Swift Command App. This makes an impressive addition to the Conqueror's specification which already includes Alde central heating throughout. The leading edge design continues with FENIX NTM® kitchen worktops which are resistant to scratches, hygienic and easy to clean, efficient, dimmable LED lighting, solar panel and 'Ecocamel Orbit' shower head with on/off water conservation button.

Swift Elegance

Built using the innovative and award winning SMART HT construction system, the Elegance is immaculately designed and cleverly detailed to provide the maximum in comfort and practicality. The positioning and versatility of the energy efficient LED's, from front pillar lights to dimmable spots and overlocker lighting, combine to create the perfect ambience.

For 2016, the chosen decorative scheme of 'Winchester Stone', which combines real leather with cleverly protected suede-like SwiftShield, a stain resistant fabric that keeps its good looks. For luxury at bedtime, all fixed beds are fitted with the exclusive Duvalay Duvalite mattress, containing ultra light weight yet sumptuously comfortable memory fibre technology.

Fully equipped and immaculately dressed, the Elegance is the pinnacle of the Swift range of tourers and comes with an impressive specification.

The new Swift Command control system features a new intelligent power supply unit with LCD control panel; certain functions can be controlled/monitored remotely via the new Swift Command App. State-of-the-art functionality continues with USB and audio interfaces, an 80W solar panel and a washroom that boasts a convenient domestic style towel radiator, a feature of the Alde central heating system.
