In a move set to increase precision and productivity, Specialised Covers in West Yorkshire has introduced digital cutting technology to ensure all covers are truly a cut above the rest

Caravan and motorhome covers can be a bit of a pain to fit to be honest, but Specialised Covers in West Yorkshire seems to understand this. That's why all covers produced are made to the exact specification of any particular vehicle. There's no universal, one-size-fits-all ethos here. It's all about making sure each order that comes through is treated with that personal touch.

Ensuring that each cover fits perfectly is no easy feat though and, because of this, the family company has introduced a new top of the range digital cutting machine to ensure there's 100 per cent precision with no room for error; once a cover leaves the factory, the only thing that it's going to do is fit exactly as it should.

The digital cutting technology introduced has been one of Specialised Covers' biggest investments to date, but for good reason. Implemented for complete accuracy, speed and finesse, whilst also saving on waste material and doing its thing for the environment as well as production costs, the company seems to be mixing the old with the new - maintaining a factory full of skilled staff whilst incorporating the latest in cutting edge technology.

Check out our video below to see exactly how it works.
