Ready Camp Add Superior Six

Ready Camp add 6 more locations to their ever expanding portfolio

By William Coleman
Ready Camp had a fantastic 2017 with massive growth and expansion in the market. They have started their New Year off with a massive bang with the addition of 6 new locations for the 2018 season.
Their new “Super Six” sites bring the number of Ready Camp locations to 44 in the UK. Across the 44 sites there are more than 20 well equipped, pre pitched safari style tents. With such a wide range of sites and accomodation types there really is something for everyone.
Read Camp launched in 2015 with the aim of attracting new people to the camping world while appealing to the existing crowd who love to spend their leisure time in the wilds in a tent, with some added creature comforts you may not get with a traditional tent. As I have said about a thousand times, 2017 was an amazing year for the industry. Ready Camp was a big part of the success and their hard work paid off with when the companies yearly revenue broke through £1M barrier for the first time.
Speaking with Bob Hill, the Camping and Caravanning Club Sites Director, said: “ready Camp continues to go from strength-to-strength, having been launched three years ago t just 17 locations. For the 2018 season we’ll see our Ready Camp tents at six new locations.”
The six new sites which will feature Ready Camp tents pitched up are Club Sites in:

  • Bude, Cornwall
  • Lynton, Devon
  • Clent Hills, West Midlands
  • California Cross, Devon
  • Crowden, Derbyshire
  • Normans Bay, East Sussex

Bob added: “The ‘super six’ sites added to this year’s line-up are found near town, country, hills, moors and coastal locations, are ideal spots for glampers to get out and enjoy our great British countryside.

“According to the travel association ABTA, the staycation is set to continue in the year ahead with two-thirds of people planning a UK break*. Our Ready Camp tents are an ideal way for holidaymakers to support that trend, which in turn supports both the local and broader UK economies.

“We aim to make the prospect of a glamping break away more accessible than ever, with Ready Camp sites located within an hour’s drive of each of the UK’s top ten biggest cities.”

The difference between your “traditional” tent and the Ready Camp tents are how equipt they come. All you will need to bring with you is your bedding, towels and your sense of adventure. If you are bringing your the kids there are triple bunk beds and single stow away beds available.

One of the best things about Ready Camp sites is that they blend together an aspect of camping and Glamping. You can spend the night in a top notch tent, wake up and have a walk to the washrooms and have a real shower. Not to mention the toilet facilities, something you do not always get when you’re camping.

Since its launch, Ready Camp has been recognised in several industry awards programmes. In its first year, the website www.readycamp.co.uk won the coveted ‘Best Travel & Holidays’ accolade at the eCommerce Awards for Excellence. Shortlisted in the Best UK Accommodation Group category in the 2016 Family Traveller Awards, Ready Camp went on to win the award ‘Best Holiday Rental for Families’ in 2017.

So if you are interested in going on a camping holiday this year make sure you check out Ready Camp.
