Elddis produces award-winning motorhomes from its plant in County Durham and sells them from more than 85 dealerships across the UK. It is the homegrown arm of the Erwin Hymer Group in Europe, which is owned by the American leisure vehicles giant Thor Industries, giving it world-class pedigree within the industry.
With more than five decades of motorhome building experience, Elddis packs plenty of innovation into its contemporary models. From compact two-berth options to vast motorhomes capable of sleeping six, the Eldds range caters to the individual needs of the modern adventurer with ease.
History of Elddis
The Elddis brand was born out of a love for camping and the great outdoors during the 1950s. Siddle and Mary Cook, along with their son Raymond, enjoyed nothing more than heading off on adventures, but soon discovered that none of the caravans on the market met their needs, so built their own.
Featuring its own fridge and a spare tyre, this custom-built touring vehicle became the foundation of the business. In 1964, the family started to manufacture caravans to sell to other holidaymakers and over the years, the range has expanded to include a wide selection of modern motorhomes.
Elddis today
Elddis prides itself on its quality of build, style, technology and innovation, which are features of its range of motorhomes today. Its patented SoLiD construction method means every leisure vehicle is fully-bonded for a motorhome you can rely on.
When it comes to all the mod cons and the finish of its motorhomes, Elddis does not scrimp on the details. Each model has been designed for ease of living on the road and the functionality lives up to the high-quality furnishings and fittings that lovers of the brand have become accustomed to over the years. Choose from a two, four or six-berth motorhome for your next adventure.
