50th anniversary Swift Elegance to embark on nationwide tour

Walking through the doors of the Birmingham NEC’s Hall 1 last month, you could hardly miss the Swift Group’s eye-catching celebration of its golden anniversary.
The caravan, motorhome and holiday home manufacturer showed off the brand new Swift Elegance model with a one-off special edition caravan that sported distinctive golden graphics (pictured).
And to mark the 50th anniversary of Swift’s inception, this remarkable vehicle is heading off on a national tour, so those who couldn’t make it to the NEC can get another chance to take a closer look.
Starting off at Lowdhams in Nottingham later this month (22-23 March), the golden caravan will then proceed to Teesside Caravans (18-21 April), Catterick Caravans (30 April-6 May) and Wandahome South Cave (17-18 May).
After that, it will take pride of place at the Caravan Club’s National Rally at Arley Hall in Cheshire (23-27 May) before finishing its tour at the Camping and Caravanning Club’s National Feast of Lanterns at Holyhead (28 August-1 Sept).
