Vehicle manufacturer Land Rover is celebrating after one of its products won an illustrious prize in a recent competition.
The Discovery 3 – a favourite among caravan owners and others who need a powerful vehicle – won the Best Used 4×4 in the What Car? Magazine Awards.
Just the latest in a long line of accolades for the motor, the gong took numerous factors into consideration, including price, desirability, reliability, performance and availability.
What Car? used car editor Matt Sanger said that the Discovery 3’s “credentials are impeccable”, adding that it is capable of comfortably dealing with both roads and rough terrain.
Caravanners can pick up a seven-seat Discovery 3 SE 2.7-litre diesel from 2005 from £19,765, Land Rover revealed.
Its closest competitors in the competition were the Nissan X-Trail and Kia Sorento.
Meanwhile, Land Rover recently released its own mobile phone designed to “meet the needs of the adventurer who wants to stay in touch”.
