Explore Wild Somerset
The stunning Exmoor National Park is the perfect destination for families with a sense of adventure, from exploring the rolling moorland or searching for the infamous Exmoor ponies. Wimbleball Lake is Somerset’s top spot for water sports, and people of all abilities can enjoy fishing, sailing, kayaking, canoeing or paddle boarding.

Southport itself has a range of fun child-friendly attractions including Southport Pleasureland, Lakeside Miniature Railway and Botanical Gardens. Further afield, nature-lovers have easy access to the stunning beauty of both the Lake District and the Yorkshire Moors.
The Southport Club Site is a great spot for fun-loving families. Prices start at £31.20 for two adults and two children, for a standard pitch awning. There are a number of lovely walks based in the local area, including Formby beach itself, which is great for dog walking.
Take It Easy In The Cotswolds
The unspoilt beauty of the Cotswolds makes it the perfect spot for a break away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. With miles of lush countryside broken up by honey-coloured villages and castles, there’s plenty to explore. Visit some of the best country pubs in the UK and enjoy the local produce, wander through ‘wolds’ or enjoy pottering through lively market towns. There’s also plenty to keep little ones busy, from Cotswolds Wildlife Park to Chedworth Roman Villa.

Enjoy The Lincolnshire Coast
The Lincolnshire coast has buckets of seaside charm that both kids and adults alike will enjoy. Enjoy a stroll along the Sutton-on-Sea promenade, hit the Pleasure Gardens or simply explore it’s sandy Blue Flag beach. A short drive inland lie the Lincolnshire Wolds, where you can explore the midlands natural beauty by foot or bike and stop for cake at one of the many quaint local tearooms.

The roads have been re-tarmacked and pitches resurfaced, as well as the introduction of a dog and bike wash area and extended play area. The site is perfectly located for easy access to plenty of activities, including bowling and tennis facilities, and a paddling pool for kids.
