The prestigious Cumbria Tourism Holiday Park of the Year Award goes to Holgates Silverdale Caravan Park
It was smiles all round for caravan park scooped the coveted Cumbria Tourism Holiday Park of the Year 2014 Award
The park of the year is part of the prestigious group, Premier Parks, a collection of 103 ‘fantastic touring parks across the UK and Ireland.’ Each member of Premier Parks undergoes a strict annual assessment, which determines their continued, or new, membership into the exclusive club.
Michael Holgate, proud owner of Holgates Silverdale, declared, “The fact that we have been recognised for the level of customer service we provide, the setting and surroundings, the facilities on the park and the overall quality of experience is incredibly rewarding for the team.”
He continued, “We are immensely proud of what we have achieved and will continue to offer the highest level of service to our customers.”
The award ceremony proved successful for two other Premier Parks, as Park Cliffe in Windermere and Castlerigg Hall Caravan and Camping Park in Keswick, took home runner-up prizes.
Some of the features offered at Holgates Silverdale include an impressive outdoor swimming pool, restaurant, bar and a games arcade. The champion campsite is located near the coast of Morecambe Bay, a location which offers optimal picturesque views.
