The Caravan Club made an appearance on the BBC One’s Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is this week when a presenter learned about the history of the organisation.
The Caravan Club’s External Communications and Sponsorship Manager, Nikki Nichol, helped BBC presenter James Braxton estimate the worth of a vintage post-war Caravan Club badge and gave him a tour of the first ever custom-built-for-leisure caravan, which had been towed by horses as early as the 1880s.
If you missed the programme and would like to brush-up on your caravanning history here’s a link to the episode.
The Caravan Club segment starts approximately 41 minutes and 45 seconds into the BBC One show.
