Cashel campsite is an open site on the shores of Loch Lomand which boats unrivalled views of the Loch and the forest. The site has 168 pitches and these are a mixture of standard, premium and ‘select style’ pitches. The site is in the perfect location for exploring the Loch and boats can be rented nearby.
The surrounding area is home to the West Highland Way walk, a sea aquarium and a golf club so there is plenty to do. There is also a children’s playground to occupy younger visitors to the site.
The site itself is well equipped with toilets and shower blocks and some pitches do have electrical hook ups. Dogs are welcome onsite. For convenience there is a shop, which sells camping essentials and it has a takeaway coffee service.
Prices start at £14.50 for a standard pitch in the low season, £19.00 for a premium pitch and £22.50 for a select pitch. This rises to £19.00 for a standard pitch, £24.00 for a premium pitch and £26.50 for a select pitch during the high season, based on two adults sharing. Camping and Caravanning Club members receive a discount of £3.50 per night and families can get a discount of £1 per night.
