Christchurch campsite, Forest of Dean

Located in the Wye Valley, Christchuch is the perfect campsite for a family holiday, with a children’s playground, onsite shop, bike hire and café. Visitors can see beautiful views of the River Wye from Symonds Yat and can walk or canoe even down the river. The site has 280 pitches and is made up of standard and premium pitches.

As well as scenic bike and walking routes there are plenty of activities in the surrounding area. Ensure everyone has an action packed holiday with the Go Ape high ropes course, Clerkenwell Caves or Forest Combat Paintballing. There are also several pubs in the area which all come highly recommended.

The site itself has plenty of faculties, including electric hook up and shower and toilet blocks. Prices start at £12.20 for a standard pitch in the low season, £17.00 for a premium pitch and £20.50 for a select pitch. This rises to £17.90 for a standard pitch during the high season and £23.50 for a premium and £26.50 for a select pitch, all based on two adults sharing. Camping and Caravanning Club members receive a discount of £3.50 per night and families can get a discount of £1 per night.

Ignore your sat nav when travelling to this site. The B4432 between Goodrich and Symonds Yat is unsuitable for caravans and motorhomes.
