The Sprite Musketeer EB is a similar model to the TD version with a rearranged layout, reducing its sleeping capacity to a four-berth, creating a larger living space for this single axle tourer. Comprising a host of new features for 2012, the Musketeer EB has a fully convertible double bed to the front, which can also be converted to two singles at near and offside. To the rear there is a single bed and a bunk, perfect for tucking the kids up out of the way and leaving the grownups the living space in the evening. The washroom is located on the offside and has a washbasin, Thetford C260 toilet with electric flush and a shower with adjustable head. A three-ring hob and separate grill offer ample cooking facilities and a microwave oven is offered as an optional extra while a granite-effect sink gives the place a touch of class. A 112-litre Thetford fridge finishes the kitchen equipment, but neat touches such as the chrome crockery rack and smooth-action cutlery drawer add to the overall impression of quality.
Built upon a strong redwood body and floor frame which is treated against moisture and fungus, the Musketeer EB has one-piece sidewalls fabricated from 5000 Series marine grade aluminium and is constructed in an aerodynamic shape to reduce fuel consumption on the road. Walls, ceiling and floors are all insulated and an anti-scratch lino floor is fitted throughout while all windows are double glazed to keep the heat in. The caravan comes with a good amount of storage space including a new front chest of draws and overhead lockers and the practical design of the Musketeer EB is neatly finished with Mali Acacia woodgrain cabinets.
Supplied from a 25 metre mains hook-up cable, the Musketeer EB has four 230v sockets, a user-friendly 12v control panel with battery selection and a battery meter. Furthermore, the gas system similarly has a regulator mounted on the bulkhead, as well as the standard isolation taps. Dual fuel central heating with electronic ignition keeps the caravan cosy through the winter and halogen ceiling lights throughout provide great levels of illumination while consuming little energy. All of the standard security measures come with the EB while a range of dealer-fit and factory-fit options are available too including a key-fob alarm system and trailer stability control.
