The Searcher heads up the Sterling Elite twin-axle range, with a fixed double bed in the rear as well as two convertible bunks in the front, meaning that a group of four can stay in comfort. With a similar layout to the Amber, the Searcher offers two and a half feet more overall length, which shows in the spacious kitchen area. Cooking appliances available to Searcher owners include the 107-litre fridge, Thermostatic oven with separate grill, and dual fuel hob with 800W electric hotplate and three gas burners.
When it comes to entertaining your crew, you can rely on the twin television points, which can be connected to an external aerial or satellite dish, or you can listen to your favourite music by using the built-in radio/CD player with iPod/MP3 player connectivity. Furthermore, the Searcher comes with the reassurance of European Whole Vehicle Type Approval, so you can be sure that it meets with all of the EU’s strict weight, dimension and safety standards.
Security and safety features on this model include a smoke alarm, a passive infra-red alarm system with tilt sensor and key fob operation, while the concealed security data chip within the caravan construction makes for easier post-theft recovery.
