The four-berth sporty compact Rio 340 offers coachbuilt luxury in the size of a panel van, ideally for those who are compromised on space or simply looking for something smaller to manoeuvre.
Starting at the front, just behind the cab, the 340 provides plenty of space two passenger seats. Moving towards the rear, a spacious kitchen area with opposite washroom will prove ideal for rustling up tasty meals and feeling refreshed, whilst the end living area transforms into a bedroom courtesy of a drop down double bed.
Featuring an abundance of storage space, the Rio 340 includes ‘Aralie Sen’ upper locker doors with gloss facades and smoked oak inlays, providing for a class feel, whilst practical removable carpets over washable French oak effect vinyl flooring make sure you can easily clean up after exploring the great outdoors.
Each model features the stylish Fiat cab with LED daytime running lights and are powered by the Fiat 2.3 litre, 130bhp Euro 5+ turbo diesel with a 6-speed gearbox, with an optional automatic gearbox. And, weighing in at 3.5 tonnes, each model can be driven on a standard car licence.
A Truma Combi 4 boiler provides ample heating and hot water and there is a well equipped kitchen and washroom which houses everything you need; a basin, toilet and shower, plus mini LED downlights – the 310 even has the luxury of a separate shower cubicle.
Lighting throughout is LED with dimmable under locker spotlights and overlocker lights in the rear lounge (model specific) and there is a step well light for safer access. There are even low-level night-lights that operate when travelling and an illuminated kitchen splash back.
For 2016, Swift’s construction system has been enhanced with SMART Plus, including three key enhancements: new sandwich floor construction with GRP outer skin providing more durability from the elements, upgraded hail resistant GRP roof, and a full GRP and foam constructed front window jig.
