VIDEO: Simon King’s Scottish wildlife caravan tour – Day Three

In the third installment of Simon King's video diary he discovers a new site in Stratclyde Country Park

by Chris Jefferies
In Part One of Simon King’s video diary, we followed the BBC naturalist and photographer to a Scottish nature reserve and in Part Two, he took some time to track wild rabbits.
The latest instalment sees Simon discovering one of the Caravan Club’s newest sites in Strathclyde Country Park.
He talks with the wardens about reduced rates for the local family attractions and the facilities available on this 107-pitch site, which is the gateway to the West of Scotland.
We then take a look at some of the footage that his trail camera captured overnight.
Simon also explains why his Bailey Orion caravan is the perfect base camp for his adventures, as it allows him to work while he is touring.
Check back with CaravanTimes for the concluding chapter in Simon’s Scottish adventure.
